Getting married among zebras and a floating giraffe….how much fun!
A dynamic young lady walked threw the door. Katherine, a journalist, found me through my very good friend Sarah Brock ( the best make up artist I know).
Her brief was very straightforward; ” I want something super natural but with a twist”. For most stylists, this would have been a massive headache. We had a good chat and I must say, as a fellow Virgo, we got on like a house on fire.
She got married just outside of Oxford at Aynho, an amazing venue. It’s filled with taxidermy. Some of it is really cool….others not so much. I personally loved the giraffe floating with balloons.
For her hair, I decided to add a hair piece. I very softly tonged the hair to create a light wave. I definitely did not want to give her a beauty pageant curl. I took most of her own hair and did a knot plait through the back. Plaits are massive in the fashion world and create such a deliciousness to the hair.We played around with the side partings but decided to go for a centre one as it’s more now.
This wedding definitely offered something different and it is one I’ll always remember, beautifully elegant and unique.
