How to keep your hair healthy
Categories / by ana / our thoughts
Environmental factors such as strong sun, temperature variations and changes in air humidity are only a few things that will impact the condition of your hair. Improper care and use of inadequate or low quality hair care products, hormonal changes, mechanical damage are all factors that damage the hair and makes it weak, thin, and dry.
Not to worry as I am here to share the good news with you and how to look after your hair.
•Always protect your hair from the sun, cold weather and the wind. Hair is very sensitive to temperature and this can really damage the hair.
•Wet hair is fragile and breaks easily. After you shampooed your hair try to brush it gently with a special detangling brush or comb.
•Use shampoo and conditioner from the same line as they have a similar formulation and will benefit the hair.
•Don’t over apply heat on hair and remember to use a heat protection. One of the best heat protectors I use in the salon is the Leonor Greyl Condition Naturelle.
•Do not rub vigorously with a towel. Hair is fragile when it is wet. Press lightly with a towel to prevent the cuticle from damaging.
• Use hair masks that are suitable for your hair. It is important to use a hair mask and not just a conditioner. Try to alternate between mask and conditioner. If possible you can leave the hair mask longer after you have towel dried your hair. This will help the hair to absorb the product better. Best hair mask I can recommend is the Leonor Greyl Masque Fleurs de Jasmin - Nourishing Treatment Mask.
•Cold water is good for hair. Do a last cold rinse for extra shine. This way you make sure you proper rinse your hair and the cool water is very good for the scalp.
And don’t forget about the most important tip: Healthy eating. Diet affects you hair health. The healthier you are, the better your hair looks.
Stay healthy and have a healthy hair.
