Awards season is here and the incredible Met Gala this week did not disappoint with the breathtaking dresses and beautiful hair! Gustav shares his opinion and insights on some of his favourite hairstyles and trends spotted at the Met Gala.

BLAKE LIVELY

"Classic half up, half down with the hair pulled underneath into a ponytail is really on trend this season. It gives you the illusion that the hair is taken off the face, to show the cheekbones and eyes but still gives you the comfort of having the hair down."

EMMA STONE

"The centre parting, sleek back look is spot on fashion. It opens up the face with an almost wet look pulled back into a simple bun. It is all about being simple to compliment the gorgeous dress."

NICOLA PELTZ BECKHAM

"Nicola looks incredible in Valentino with her hair styled in a  'barely done' look. The 'barely done' look is seen in a lot in the fashion industry, often worn by influencers and models. It is effortless chic that looks like it has barely been touched to create a carefree and natural look."

KAIA GERBER

"Big, fabulous, curly hair. We are seeing a lot of people embracing their natural curls and textures and we love it! It is very important with these styles to make sure the hair is in excellent condition."
